Elizabeth Sandifer created Eruditorum Press. She’s not really sure why she did that, and she apologizes for the inconvenience. She currently writes Last War in Albion, a history of the magical war between Alan Moore and Grant Morrison. She used to write TARDIS Eruditorum, a history of Britain told through the lens of a ropey sci-fi series. She also wrote Neoreaction a Basilisk, writes comics these days, and has ADHD so will probably just randomly write some other shit sooner or later. Support Elizabeth on Patreon.

Video game writing? You piqued my interest there. What would you write about?

My interest can also be counted among that level of "piqued" mentalities.

Andrew Scott is to be in the new James Bond film. This should be interesting…

For that small section of the readership who have access to iplayer and haven't cottoned on already, BBC4 is in the middle of rebroadcasting the 1981 serial Day of the Triffids. ('serious drama with man-eating plants in it' – Phil Sandifer).

Hm. I'm a Patreon backer here, but…Game of Thrones? Really? I really tried to watch that show, and made it about a third of the way through season 1 before just throwing in the towel. It's a soap opera (and not in the redemptive sense you've been using that here), and an unpleasantly rapey one at that. It certainly has a magnetic attraction, so I suppose I can see the appeal, but it's like someone watched 'The Hobbit' and wished there were more 'intrigue' and creepy sex…and that description is STILL better than the Game of Thrones I watched. Ugh.

I'd vote for the Joss Whedon project, as I think that would both be awesome and has the potential to generate a meaty project that could attract a significant new readership to the blog. Selfishly, I'd love to see you take on either Deadwood, Cracker, or The Sopranos, but as none of those are genre I recognise that's unlikely. The BSG remake, maybe?

My basic problem with GoT is I've only watched to the end of Season 2, so I'd have to do some catching up and selfishly don't currently have time. Can't object to it as something for you to sink your mind-teeth into though, as there's a lot going on with it.

Whedon, BSG or Game of Thrones all get my vote (although by all means finish up Sherlock first!). But truthfully, wherever your heart takes you we will follow.
