L.I. Underhill is a media critic and historian specializing in pop culture, with a focus on science fiction (especially Star Trek) and video games. Their projects include a critical history of Star Trek told through the narrative of a war in time, a “heretical” history of The Legend of Zelda series and a literary postmodern reading of Jim Davis' Garfield.

    Oh, and now that we are actually at the end of the Original Series, can I request your updated watch-list, Josh? You said a few episodes back you had made one for your sister (in law? can't remember properly now), but that you would have changed one or two episodes on it.

    I would like to see if I can't introduce my daughter to Star Trek, and doing so from the perspective of this blog would be a pretty good starting point, I reckon.
