Elizabeth Sandifer

Elizabeth Sandifer created Eruditorum Press. She’s not really sure why she did that, and she apologizes for the inconvenience. She currently writes Last War in Albion, a history of the magical war between Alan Moore and Grant Morrison. She used to write TARDIS Eruditorum, a history of Britain told through the lens of a ropey sci-fi series. She also wrote Neoreaction a Basilisk, writes comics these days, and has ADHD so will probably just randomly write some other shit sooner or later.Support Elizabeth on Patreon.

because everything that rises must converge. Such is the way of the fortune cookie. Parthenogenesis demands it. I need a second cup. The radiator is truly alchemical, though, a confluence of water and fire, though indeed even a light bulb can be conceived as a radiator; the sun shurely is.

Do you remember the auditorium? An audit of the show. The man next to me was kind, gave me some painkillers. Da pall hang over da city. Maybe that's why our comments come at the end, and not at the beginning. Too disparate, too many velveteen rabbits scrabbling for tears in the fire. If we weren't a diaspora, if we weren't so scattered, we'd come first, and we'd be together,

Postmodern writing makes my head hurt. That's actually something I greatly value in this blog – you've made a number of concepts that I heartily struggled with in grad school much clearer and better connected to things in real life.

Moore’s work on it was at least passingly familiar to Steve Bissette

At least? Bissette has spoken often of how excited he and Totleben both were to hear that Moore would be taking over, as they were avidly following his work in Warrior.

I saw Len Wein and Grant Morrison at a panel at the Sydney Opera House. I should have asked them about this.

Don't know much about Post-modernist writing, so is 'radicle system' a typo of radical system or something else I'm just not getting?

Can you imagine if Peri had been spouting stuff like this throughout season 22? If the whole season had been filled with plant metaphors to which her knowledge could be applied? Shit, what if she'd actually gotten to face the Vervoids? The ONE plant-based monster in her whole tenure and she gets killed / married / same difference / just kidding right before they show up, episodically speaking? Freaking weak, dude.

whilst in the dark room the woman holds her head in her hands, lost, watching the Coelacanths drift silently in the water behind her eyes.
