The Ark in Space Commentary
Jack and I are back, talking nonsense over The Ark in Space. We actually recorded this over a month ago, but then I somehow failed to post it for two weeks, and then I kept having other things to post on Thursdays. But now Game of Thrones is over and I have Tuesdays back as viable posting days, so here we are.

Got the first two episodes watched/ listened to; always a pleasure.
The talk about the bubble wrap reminds me that bubble wrap was nowhere near as common back in the mid-70's as it later became; I don't think it would have been nearly as obvious on first broadcast as it is now. There was one Christmas in the mid-70's when my Dad actually got my Mom a huge box filled with nothing but bubble wrap as a gift, and this was absolutely NOT a gag gift. My Mom loved popping bubble wrap, and it didn't show up that often in the normal course of things. She would be popping it as she relaxed for the next several months, and she would at best very rarely share.
