She looks drunk… which is also pretty accurate, I suspect 😀

Little Jenerica-Louise has more to worry about than my snark.

Well, it certainly is a refreshing break from previous companions. She's neither a married couple, a 30-something woman, her grandfather, a young black woman, an Australian former pop star, an omnisexual prettyboy, a blonde former pop star, her Asian boyfriend, nor her stout middle-aged mum. Going back to 'generic young white female' seems to be quite a game-changing paradigm shift indeed given the relative range of ages, genders, sexualities and races seen in traveling with the Doctor the new series. Do they dare give her glass ankles? How refreshing! We haven't seen that in the series since, oh, I dunno, Adric.

Funny coming across this now, after Jenna’s been and gone. I had much the same thoughts when she was announced, but through Capaldi’s seasons she and the character turned out to be great. (Other opinions are available).

Anyway, the next new girl is at least missing one part out of “young white woman”.
