This is a feature, not a bug.

A “bug” is also a euphemism for the butt-end of a joint.

When I was small, my brain worked like that all the time. I miss it sometimes, the way a great Doctor of Journalism once said he missed “the happy lost innocence that enabled” him to put “a big, half-bright Cuban who once played third-string tackle for Florida State University” over as “Kazika, the Mad J*p” to the sports-entertainment marks of Fort Walton Beach.
