Elizabeth Sandifer created Eruditorum Press. She’s not really sure why she did that, and she apologizes for the inconvenience. She currently writes Last War in Albion, a history of the magical war between Alan Moore and Grant Morrison. She used to write TARDIS Eruditorum, a history of Britain told through the lens of a ropey sci-fi series. She also wrote Neoreaction a Basilisk, writes comics these days, and has ADHD so will probably just randomly write some other shit sooner or later. Support Elizabeth on Patreon.

Yeah, both it and E for Extinction did not impress with their first issues, and so were dropped.

Didn't the last issue of Fables come out this week? I actually think the idea of having the last issue be the last trade so everybody gets it at once is neat in theory, but the execution and communication of the idea fell through horribly.

Did it? I didn't see it on the racks. I bet that screwed a lot of people's pulls actually.

No idea if it actually showed up, but I've seen the release date given as today on a couple sites. It's not up for sale on Comixology yet, but Comixolgy has the release date as next Tuesday, not Wednesday. So who knows at this point.

I should probably call my store tomorrow, check that a) it's out, and b) they pulled it for me.

A fun little issue that would have been quite pleasant had this denouement come at the pace Bendis wrote it for, but that is infuriating wheel-spinning at the pace this is actually playing out.

Since I read X-Men in UK reprint form, I suspect I'll get a better deal out of this. Just not for a year or so…

I was shocked, literally shocked, to see a review for Uncanny X-Men which mentioned that X-Men #600 was not out yet. I felt certain that it must have come out already months ago and I just missed it. It is astonishing that they would time the 600th issue of what was at one point /the/ flagship Marvel title so that it is completely lost amidst a company-wide reboot.

Got it today, but not at my regular store, which had missed that the trade was the regular issue. The 2nd store had also missed that, but was waiting on reorders to fill box customers and selling the first order first come first served; so I got their last one.

I think the promo on this was a complete disaster, from what little I'm seeing at local stores. Nobody seemed to have known what was going on before it came out.
