Elizabeth Sandifer created Eruditorum Press. She’s not really sure why she did that, and she apologizes for the inconvenience. She currently writes Last War in Albion, a history of the magical war between Alan Moore and Grant Morrison. She used to write TARDIS Eruditorum, a history of Britain told through the lens of a ropey sci-fi series. She also wrote Neoreaction a Basilisk, writes comics these days, and has ADHD so will probably just randomly write some other shit sooner or later. Support Elizabeth on Patreon.

The Gaiman run on Miracleman is actually what I'm most familiar with; I got The Golden Age from the SF and Fantasy Bookclub when I was a teenager, on name recognition of "the guy who wrote Good Omens and wasn't Terry". Hadn't a clue what was going on except it was some kind of Godlike Power of Shazam thing, but I was intrigued.

Agree with you regarding ELECTRICOMICS. Got to be a Beta tester and mostly enjoyed the books, although I see what you mean about a couple of the titles. You might try to be original in concept when using something cutting edge like this.

Damn! How did I miss THORS #3 in the shop today? I really enjoy that book. Got to head back and pick it up.

Always enjoy your reviews, whether I agree or not.

You don't consider "The Shadow Out of Time" top tier Lovecraft? I would also include "At the Mountains of Madness" and "The Colour Out of Space" as top tier, but those are a bit more debatable. (I'm mostly including Colour as a courtesy to Lovecraft, who apparently thought it was his best story.) And I'm sure there are some others that people would object to being excluded.

I sold off my Miracleman run several years ago, so it's been a while; but if I recall correctly 17 was easily the weakest of the Golden Age stories, by a fair margin. There's some really good stuff on the way very quickly.

Phil, you're completely wrong as Eric Gimlin points out – the best Lovecraft – is yet to come, and I mean that in two ways. One – the stories Eric cites, and two Lovecraft himself: who is clearly being set up as the redeemer created by the Stella Sapienta.
