I don’t think Skyrim VR will be Sony exclusive. I mean, it might be, what with PS VR but I think it’s too big a title to not be available on PC. I would think it’ll be a timed exclusive if anything. Microsoft also got to reveal Assassin’s Creed Origins yet that game is not going to be exclusive to the Onyx.

Isn’t Skyrim already in VR on the PC via Oculus et al? One of my buddies has it, is always complaining that his lighting mods wig out when you use it with VR.

The Wolfenstein trailer actually inspired me to go back and reinstall Return to Castle Wolfenstein. Such a good game. Hard as shit, but good. New one has a very Fallout/Man In The High Castle feel, and though people say otherwise, I can’t help but detect the DNA of current Call of Duty games in this. Which is weird, given that franchise’s history.

I don’t think I like the looks of Mario Odyssey, though. The gameplay looks great, it’s “the looks”. Not the graphics, the aesthetic. It reminds me of Sonic 2006, with a stylized cartoon character running around a city populated by last-gen semi-realistic figures. And while that was far, far from Sonic 06’s greatest failure, it was probably the greatest aesthetic sin, so to see Nintendo repeating it sends a chill down my spine.

After those dispiriting articles last year it’s nice to see that you’re in a better place, emotionally, about the state of the games industry (and that the industry is also in a better place, of course).
    That’s all.
