Pex Lives 27: The Invasion
We’re pleased to announce the release of Pex Lives 27, in which James and Kevin are joined by, and I quote their episode description here, “the very clever and lovely Eliot Chapman to discuss The Invasion.”
That’s available for download here.

With regards to your comments on capitalism, Cybermen & consumerism in the podcast, it’s interesting to note that the external shots ot International Electromatics’s London offices were Millbank Tower, who’s tenants have included both the Labour & Conservative parties (as well as been used in Terror Of The Zygons).

I remember I was at a protest that walked by the Millbank and there was a middle-class sounding guy who was systematically pointing the excitable, passionate youngsters in its direction. He was saying to each one, in turn, pointing in the direction of the Millbank, “Conservative party headquarters. Conservative party headquarters.”
And the building’s windows got smashed to fuck that day. It was occupied, until a battalion of coppers arrived, all way to its roof. I’m not saying that sneaky seeming man was an outside agitator, who sought to discredit the protesters by sacrificing the paltry repair cost of the building, but he achieved the ends of one.
