Have just started listening, and if my Patreon cash is going towards the Shakespeare joke Jack made at 01:04:12 I think it’s money well spent Really enjoying this

    Loving it so far.

Shakespeare Code was the first NuWho episode I watched where I thought “that was awful, I don’t think I’ll rewatch that tomorrow.” For nerdy old 17 year old me, not rewatching an episode the next day was a big deal.

I eventually got back to it a few years later and fell asleep.

Have I missed it, or has anyone ever noticed that there’s a thematic link between the Moods, especially “Forget,” and the motorists’ use of religion as a comfort, and the Doctor’s use of lying about what happened to Gallifrey for the same purpose. It’s not a “just say no” thing at all…or maybe that’s just me.

I, for one, loved the human dalek sec costume/prosthetic from day 1. It looked like Scaroth. Therefore it was good.

Accurate. Though I expect the formula will shift somewhat come Season 5.

In related news, I’m still really, really tired. :/

Wrong – the single greatest shot in Doctor Who is a toss-up between Adric on top of the TARDIS in Logopolis or Turlough crawling away from the gravity well in Enlightenment. You’re welcome.
