    Another great entry, and I’m enjoying the ongoing four-part analysis of Watership Down, one of my favorite books.

    I LOVE how John pointing up points to John the Baptist — I hadn’t known that that was a common artistic trope before, but now it makes so much sense. The real tragedy of John Locke is that he is the Island’s John the Baptist, preparing the way for the redeemer, and not the savior himself.

    Looking forward to The Moth next week – one of my favorites!
